The Chinese dragon (lung) has been equated with weather throughout Chinese history. It is said that some of the worst floodings were caused when a mortal had upset a dragon. They could cause a drought or they could eclipse the sun. The dragon was also a symbol of the emperor's wisdom and divine power. Some emperors claimed they were descended from the dragon.

This plush Chinese dragon is almost four feet long from nose to tail, and will stand when balanced on its four clawed feet. Made with red, blue, yellow, green, and teal fabric, the dragon is crowned with a fluffy mane and white horns on its head.
