The World War II Interactive Atlas provides an interactive, cartographic overview of the events and battles of WWII. From the world overview you can cycle through each month of the conflict, watching the changing events unfold, and click on important areas to bring up more detailed maps of the conflict. Punch down through the maps to see Omaha beach, the battle for Stalingrad, and the raid on St. Nazaire.

The Atlas viewer is powerful and fast and the maps are in vector format, so you'll se no loss of detail as you zoom in. You can hide or show units, troop movements and detail, then print any view at any scale, even across many pieces of paper. Search through the entire Atlas for related events, and save the lists as bookmark files.

Every map was created in fine detail using Campaign Cartographer 2, Profantasy Software's mapping program. If you have CC2, the Atlas will enhance it with flags and unit counters for the participating nations, NATO military symbols, and tools to add troop movements, map features, and customized units.
