Version 3.0 is faster, funnier, and crazier than ever

Five years after first twisting the card game world on its head with the ever-changing game called Fluxx, Looney Labs has made their biggest hit even better.

Inventor Andrew Looney has played an unimaginable number of games of Fluxx over the years, and while he still isn't tired of the game, he has come up with a few little things he'd like to fix. Now, with Version 3.0, he's had a chance to revisit the design of his modern classic.

"We've gotten rid of some of the weaker New Rule cards and put in better, funnier ones instead," said Andy. "Same goes for a bunch of the Actions. We also trimmed five of the less useful Keepers, while adding two new ones, just to keep it fresh. And we've added more Goals. Plus, we've changed the art on a couple of cards, and renamed a few others, stuff like that."

About 25% of the cards have changed completely, with another 25% being tweaked in little ways that many Fluxx fans might not even notice, but which the perfectionist Looneys wanted to improve. The result is even more fun that before! Even the box looks a little different (although the size of the box, as well as the cardback, haven't changed at all).
