Trichophyton mentagrophytes
1,000,000 times actual size!
Facts: In ancient times, athlete's foot was attributed to insect bites. (In medical Latin it's called Tinea pedis, or foot larvae.) However, in the 19th century a team of scientists discovered that microorganisms were responsible! Although a variety of fungi can cause foot rashes, Trichophyton mentagrophytes cause the itchy, cracked skin typically between the fourth and fifth toes.
This plush measures approximately 6" in length and 2" wide, ignoring the variously sized protuberances. It is made of orange plush. It comes with a short description of the disease and how to treat it.
For children ages 3 and up.
