The Cult of the Rune expansion brings you an entirely new Runebound play experience! The terrors of necromancers and Dragonlords are nothing compared to the insidious infiltration of a mysterious cult that worships runes themselves. They travel across the land performing foul rituals and corrupting the people and beasts of the land, and only powerful Heroes can stop them. Don't get too close to the cult's forces, though, or you might find yourself next on their sacrificial altar!

This expansion includes 30 new adventure cards and new rules for defeating the Cult of the Rune! For use with the Runebound fantasy adventure board game.
