Forever severed from their home world of Earth, Terran civilization has been doomed to fight for survival on the edge of the galaxy. The enigmatic Protoss, an advanced and sophisticated race, has secretly observed the newcomer Terrans from afar. To further complicate matters, a previously unknown and deadly species known only as the Zerg has entered known space, infesting and consuming worlds at a horrifying pace.
