Warehouse 23 Digital Wish List

Be sure to read Writing for Warehouse 23 before making a submission. We're specifically looking for GURPS Fourth Edition proposals (including Transhuman Space proposals).

GURPS Fourth Edition (updated March 4, 2014)

Title: The project's working title. We don't always like our working title, so we may accept your suggested alternative, ask you to recommend something else, or simply assign a better title when we think of it. Moral: Don't get attached to the working title, your proposed title, or any other title. Not at this stage.

Links: Links to further information about the project. "Summary" is universal and points to a capsule description (read it!). "Outline" is rarer, and points to a preapproved outline.

Word Count: The rough minimum and maximum words we have in mind for the project. This means final, edited word count. The word-count-to-page count ratio is roughly 850 words per page in the final product, assuming a typical density of stats and tables, and allowing for pull quotes, illustrations, and endpapers. Thus, if you're writing a 20-page item, aim for 17,000 words, while if you submit 22,473 words, the published PDF is likely to be about 27 pages long. Be aware that if there are many stats blocks and/or tables, you'll meet your page count with fewer words.

Required Reading: Works you'll have to be familiar with to write this item.
